Our church collected 13 backpacks for the Fawn Grove Compassionate
Ministries for school students in our region for this new school year.
Marge has lots of material to use to make dresses for girls in Africa. If you would like to help cut the material or sew, please see her as soon as possible.
Please continue to donate items for the School Pal Paks. You may
bring items in at any time. There is a box in the foyer for donations and a
list of needed supplies on the bulletin board. Children around the world
affected by tornadoes, hurricanes, and other disasters will receive these

Our church has taken on two child sponsorships through Nazarene
Compassionate Ministries. Please check the Missions table for additional
information and letters received from the children. Please follow the
guidelines listed in the sponsorship packet for writing letters to these

This year's mission CDs and children books are now available to check out.
Do not forget that there is a variety of information on the Missions table in
the foyer. Info on our District Missionaries, Crisis Kit information, books and
CDs you can borrow to read and listen to. Each church in our District gets
credit for the number of books and CDs that are read and listened to.
Please be sure to sign each item out that you borrow.
Our church has a LINKS missionary for this year: Ted & Sarah Voigt.
Please take a minute to share greetings with our LINKS missionaries, the
Voigt family. Cards and gifts from churches send a message of caring
that means so much when missionaries serve so far away from family. Know your heart for missions makes such a difference in those who have made a life commitment to serve in areas where people are so hungry for the message of hope they bring especially during the upcoming holiday seasons. The Voigts have served as mission corp missionaries in Paraguay
and currently serve in Ireland.
Ted and Sarah both work with Children and Families in several capacities, leading a
Parent and Toddler playgroup, helping with Church ministries and church planting work,
and leading Work and Witness visitors as needed. Ted is also involved in several
community organizations such as the Wicklow Writers and The Stage Youth Cafe.
He works with teens in several capacities, and is actively involved in the Wicklow
arts community. Sarah leads a children's Bible story group based on the Godly
Play material, and is also involved in several community groups, including the Arts
Festival, a knitting group, and Healthy Kids, an initiative to help families eat healthier.
On going pray requested for our immigration status in Ireland.
Pray for the continuing work of the Church of the Nazarene in Wicklow, and for
fundraising efforts as we are expected to raise 100% of our funding for our work here.
