South Central Community Action Programs, is a coordinator of charitable human services for the benefit of the community and to assist low-income individuals help themselves by providing services and programs to meet their needs. SCCAP, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation which serves Adams and Franklin County. Where most other agencies provide a single public service, South Central Community Action Programs, Inc. provides those in need access to a vast variety of services needed at one stop. The programs which SCCAP, Inc. offer rely on funding from Federal, State and local government, foundations, businesses, as well as, from donations from individuals within the community. Without the help of the community, many of the programs would not survive.
