 Psalm 84:10-12
Opening Prayer
Responsive Reading      One In Christ #667
Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions.
For it is by grace we have been saved, through faith, not by works.
Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been
brought near through the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace,
He who has made the two one and has destroyed the dividing wall of hostility,
by abolishing in his flesh, the law with its commandments and regulations.
He came and preached peace To you were far away,
And peace to those who were near. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens,
But fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.
In him you too are being built together to become a dwelling place in which God lives—
A radiant church without stain or wrinkle . . . holy and blameless.

Psalm 86:8-16
Opening Prayer
Responsive Reading      #280 Forever with Christ
Do not let your hearts be troubled, Trust in God; trust also in me.
In my Father’s house are many rooms; If it were not so, I would have told you.
I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come back and take you to be with me. There will be no more death,
No mourning or crying or pain, For the old order of things has passed away.
I am making everything new! There will be no more night. They will not need the
light of a lamp or the light of the sun, For the Lord God will give them
light, And they will reign for ever and ever. Behold , I am coming soon! My reward is with me,
and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

 Psalm 91:1-2
Opening Prayer
Responsive Reading      #254 Christ’s Humiliation and Exaltation (Philippians 2:5-11)
The Apostle Paul reminds us: Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
But made himself nothing, Taking the very nature of a servant, Being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself And became obedient to death-
Even death on the cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, In heaven and on earth and under the earth,
And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Psalm 103:6-12
Opening Prayer
Responsive Reading      The Suffering Servant
Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
And like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
Nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he took up our infirmities And carried our sorrows.
Yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
The punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We all. like sheep, have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
